Flex offers access to multiple lockers and a range of different options for the delivery and return of items across the network. To learn more about Flex, contact your Account Manager.

If you are a Flex user, this section outlines the main tasks you complete in Thinventory Mobile as part of working with Flex.

Before you start

  • You must have Flex enabled for your account to use this function. Check with your ByBox Administrator for more details.
  • You must have location services enabled on your mobile for locker access.
  • You must have Bluetooth switched on.

Pick up a delivery

You can collect packages from more than just your own door in Thinventory Mobile.

  1. Tap Pick Up My Delivery.

    Make sure you are standing close to the doors. (If you're outside of Bluetooth range, your locker will not be found.)


  2. Tap Find my Items.
  3. The door opens.
  4. Remove all your items and close the door.
    IMPORTANT: All items must be removed BEFORE you close the door.
  5. Select the best option:
    1. Confirm and continue. Your collections from this locker is complete. Tap Done and follow the prompts to see if you have more deliveries to collect.
       
    2. Verify Collections. You can verify your collections or choose to wait until later. Follow the prompts to verify your collection.

Drop off a return

You can return packages to multiple lockers using Thinventory Mobile.



  1. Tap Drop Off My Return.

    Make sure you are standing close to the doors. (If you're outside of Bluetooth range, available lockers will not be found.)




  2. If the locker is a suitable size for your return, tap Locker suitable. If you are having trouble finding an available locker see Having Trouble? for further support. 
  3. The door opens.


  4. Check the locker is still suitable for your return item(s).
  5. Place the return item(s) into the locker.
  6. Close the door.
  7. Tap Door closed –  Continue.
  8. Select the best option:
    1. Door closed - continue
    2. Verify. Follow the prompts to verify your return.
      Note: You will need to restart the 'Drop off My Return' process to return more items.

  9. Your return from this locker is complete. Tap Return More Items if you have more to return, otherwise, tap Done.

The item is now returned and will be added back into the network or returned to the warehouse for warranty processing.

Having Trouble?

I can close the door but it won't lock.

If a door is open for more than 15 minutes it will not lock when the door is pushed shut. You need to re-open the lock using Thinventory Mobile to reset the door. Once the door is reset, it will lock when closed.

  1. Continue through the ‘Pick Up My Delivery’ or ‘Drop Off My Return’ process, ignoring any door still open error pages, until you are back at the main menu.
  2. On the main menu select the Help and Support menu and then the reopen/reset locker menu option to reset the lock.
  3. You should now be able to close the locker successfully.
