Before you start

  • If the app isn't already on your device, visit your phone's app store to download it
  • Before downloading and starting your journey with ByBox Deliver, it's important to review the Engineer Guidance to Safety Information
  • You must have location services enabled on your mobile for locker access
  • You must have Bluetooth switched on and a data connection

How to use ByBox Deliver

To drop-off items using ByBox Deliver:

  1. Launch ByBox Deliver App



  2. Tap Start scanning


  3. Scan the item using your mobile device

  4. Searching for lockers appears on the screen to find an available locker for your item

  5. When you're stood directly in front of the locker, select I've arrived, open locker

    This is important to avoid any issues




  6. Opening locker appears on the screen when an available locker is found

  7. The locker door opens
    1. If the locker is suitable, place the item into the locker

    2. Select Add more items if needed, then scan each item and place into the locker one at a time. Each item will display as a list on screen. 

    3. When you're done, close the door and tap Complete delivery

      You will lose access to the locker once the door is closed.

      Remove an item by tapping the trash icon. If you delete all the listen items it will end the delivery process, if you do this be sure to remove those items from the locker. You will see a message asking you to close the locker door. 



    4. If the locker is not suitable, tap Try a different door
      1. Select a reason and tap Confirm reason

      2. Go to step 4.

  8. Your delivery is complete and a confirmation message appears on screen showing the barcode number(s) of the item(s) you have delivered
  9. Tap Done to finish and return to the home screen

Having Trouble?


Try the following:

  • Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on.

  • Make sure your location services are turned on.
  • Make sure you have a strong data signal (for example, 3G/4G/5G).

  • Make sure you're standing close to the front of the App Locker door.

  • Quit the app and relaunch it.
  • Push gently against the door.

If you cannot close the door, remove any items from the locker and contact ByBox Customer Support on 02476 584272

If you see this screen, the barcode has not been recognised, it might be there there are other barcodes on the item. Check you're scanning the correct barcode and try again. If you still see this message, contact ByBox Customer Support on 02476 584272

If you see this screen, it means other available lockers may be available but out of range. Move closer to the locker door and tap Search again. If you still get this message after you've tried again, tap Record delivery failure.



If you see this screen, it means you may be at the wrong ByBox location. E.g. If the ByBox is at Tesco you're familiar with, is there another one down the road that might be the correct location instead? Check you're at the right place, then tap Try again. If you still get this message after you've tried again, tap Record delivery failure.

You will see this error message if the door is unable to open. Select Try again to reattempt opening the same door again, or Try another door to take you back to the search screen to search for another available locker.
